Best estimates are 150 work teams with 2200 volunteers have worked on 400 homes through the recovery ministry at CSPC Tearing out ruined ceilings, walls, floors, appliances while lookin for salvageable keepsakes kept us busy for over a year... Now we’re hanging sheet rock, laying floors, purchasing appliances/furniture.., thanking God for every step toward a restored home! Our church facility has been “home” to many of you for a week (or weeks). Sunday school classes became dorm & shower rooms, our kitchen re-outfitted (yeah New Providence PC!) to serve dozens weekly, our sanctuary and fellowship hall a place of prayer, worship, conversation, new friendships.

WE’RE NOT FINISHED..., YET! Teams are scheduled thru May 09’, our focus being three homes of members, and a couple homes close to the church. Jerry D. continues to serve as work-site coordinator and scheduling and other details are being handled by Jenny B., our faithful church admin. PRAY FOR OUR SESSION as we discern God’s will concerning the continued hosting and facilitating of work teams.

HOW YOU CAN REMAIN INVOLVED: Ask your church to PRAY for our church!! These have been some of the most difficult years of our lives, our church has been stretched financially, emotionally and spiritually..., we are in a good place though, utterly dependant upon God for a fresh wind of His mercy, grace and power!
