CSPC YOUTH MINISTRY –  CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

Mission Statement

The purpose of the CSPC Youth Ministry is to produce thriving, fruitful disciples among the children of our church by engaging and encouraging their personal relationships with Jesus Christ, their role and responsibility to the greater CSPC community and believers everywhere, and their responsibility to the unbelieving world.

Goals and Objectives:

•       Whether a child comes from birth or at age 17, our primary responsibility to them is to introduce Jesus Christ to them in a way that is engaging and relevant to their developmental stage.

•       Understand that the CSPC Youth Ministry plays a secondary role to the child's parent in the spiritual development of the child and engages and equips parents accordingly.

•       Carefully and systematically teach a biblical framework that will ground the child in their faith long after they leave our ministry.

•       Rally the greater CSPC body around each child; establishing rites of passage (i.e. baptism, communion) , and creating for the child a sense that they belong to a "family of believers."

•       In ways that are appropriate to their psychological and spiritual stage in life, create and offer opportunities for each child to minister to both their fellow believers as well as unbelievers.
