Annual Congregational Meeting

Sunday, January 31st, 12:00

Dear Canal St. Family,

This Sunday (Jan 31st) we’ll hold our annual meeting as a congregation, celebrating what God is doing in our midst.  Our elders have a lot of exciting news to share with you, and we are praying the Lord will encourage your heart by revealing His good plan for your life and Canal St. Church.

We’d like to ask you to make a special effort to be present Sunday.  We believe God wants to give all of us a glimpse of who He has called to this church and what He has in store for CSPC, Mid-City and beyond!

Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. as usual J!!   Pastor Mike will be sharing from our lectionary reading, Acts 9, What’s That Rope You’re Holding?

The congregational meeting will take place in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.  Finger foods and beverages will be served, the nursery will remain open for infants and your other children are welcome at the meeting. 

We’ll keep it short and sweet as elders share briefly about new vision and direction for our church, the annual budget is presented and terms of call for the pastor are presented and voted upon.

Again, please join us this Sunday, it’s an important time in the life of our church and the ministry God has called us to in New Orleans!  We believe He has called YOU to be a part!  Begin to answer His call by being at church THIS Sunday!
